Introductory Sailing Sessions

‘Sailing Experience’ is for both Non Members or Members and offers taster style sessions on the tidal River Orwell.  It is ideal as an introduction for anyone who is new to sailing.

You’ll be accompanied in a Wayfarer dinghy to gain experience as a crew or helm and learn to rig and launch the boat. 

‘Sailing Experience’ begins in May and runs throughout the summer. You can book as many or as few sessions as you like, and multiple sessions do not have to be over consecutive weeks.

The sessions run from 1800 each Thursday evening and cost £20 per session. 

Non-Members can join us for two sessions after which we’d love to have you as a Member.
