Hiring the Club

The RHYC boasts a modern, spacious, flexible event venue with panoramic views overlooking the River Orwell in Suffolk. It is available to both members and non-members for corporate and private functions.

We offer:

• Three function rooms which can either be hired individually, in any combination, or as a whole. All rooms have floor to ceiling glass windows with extensive views over the River Orwell.
• A beautifully maintained lawn overlooking the marina and river, with informal seating – ideal for summer events or as break out areas for your guests. Marquees can be erected on this space if extra capacity is required.
• A full range of quality dining options by arrangement from 8am to 11pm, in conjunction with our professional catering partner, Reeves Events. Menus can be tailored to suit your requirements, locally sourced foods are used.
• A fully licensed bar is available with a substantial wine list and locally brewed beers. Late bar opening until 12.30am.
• Personalised, quality service from our highly experience catering team.
• Large, free car park
• Spacious, modern bathroom facilities with showers and WC
• Free Wi-Fi
• Speakers and sound systems
• Media rental (TV or projector) & flip chart

  FUNCTION ROOMS
  The whole Clubhouse is available for hire (subject to availability), or any of the three rooms can be separately hired according to your needs.

  • Main Club Room: Up to 90 guests dining, 100 theatre style
  • Ashbury Room: Up to 50 guests dining, 65 theatre style
  • Orwell Room (upstairs): Up to 25 guests boardroom, 50 theatre style
  • Lawn summer event: Approx. 200 guests

  CATERING

  Diners can experience our locally sourced food along with an impeccable level of service, and all of our food is prepared in-house by our catering partners Reeves Events.  We also have a fully stocked bar with a substantial wine list. Catering Prices From:

  • Breakfast / brunch: From £9.95 pp
  • Buffet / lunch: From £15 pp
  • Full day delegate menu: From £24 pp
  • Three course, formal dinner: From £36 pp
  • Tasting menu experience: From £45 pp

  Prices for weddings and corporate events lasting 2 days or more are quoted separately. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

  

  ACCOMMODATION

  Accommodation is available onsite in conjunction with MDL Woolverstone Marina. The Lodge Park has a range of different lodge styles and sizes set in 22 acres of beautiful parkland. The Cat House is a luxury 7 bed, 4 bedroom property located directly opposite the clubhouse.
