Hiring the Club

We can offer you a unique tailor-made package for your event, in conjunction with our catering partners Reeves Events.

Our modern clubhouse offers stunning surroundings for your business meetings, day delegate conference set up, corporate events, private parties and weddings with great facilities and incredible panoramic views overlooking the River Orwell. In good weather, our large lawn that runs down to the riverbank and is a fantastic place for a gathering.

We can even organise full team building days, or full weekly exclusive hires for week long conferences.  We offer a wide range of dining options by arrangement from 8.00am to 11.00pm – breakfast to dinner including canapés or buffets through to formal dinners, across a number of price points. Our fully licenced bar can open until 12.30am for parties.

MDL Woolverstone Lodges are adjacent onsite,  whom we can liaise with to provide you with some accommodation options within easy walking distance of the club.   

Diners can experience our locally sourced food along with an impeccable level of service, and all of our food is prepared in-house by our catering partners Reeves Events.  We also have a fully stocked bar with a substantial wine list.

We offer a range of delicious menus  –  Choose between our ‘sailors’ menu for two or three courses, or for our luxury three course ‘events’ menu or even  request a  full tasting menu experience.   Please contact the office for copies of our latest menu: office.manager@royalharwich.co.uk

We can arrange or work with you to provide live music and a disco for your event. 

The whole Clubhouse is available for hire (subject to availability), or any of the three rooms can be separately hired according to your needs.  The following is a list of recommended maximum numbers of guests seated for each of the rooms:

• Main Club Room: up to 90 guests.
• Ashbury Room: up to 50 guests.
• Orwell Room (on the first floor): up to 20 guests.
• Summer BBQ event on the lawn: Up to 250
