RYA Powerboat Level 2

RYA Powerboat Level 2 Training – Suffolk

Suffolk based on the east coast River Orwell, within easy reach of London and other surrounding areas. The RYA PBII (level 2) course focuses on low speed close quarters handling, man overboard recovery, an introduction to driving at planing speed and collision regulations.

We also introduce some fun elements, seeing our stunning river scenery and a cafe stop in one of our local marinas.

This 2 day training course is designed for anyone wishing to gain their RYA Powerboat PBII certification.

Our RHYC member’s price is £150 plus £20 for 2 x RYA Course & Syllabus/Log books and Certificate/Card = £170.00 

For non-members an additional supplement of £125 is paid = £295.00 

(For Cruising Association Members this supplement is an additional £60.00)

The course is held at the Royal Harwich Yacht Club in Woolverstone, Ipswich IP9 1AT.

You can also use your level 2 qualification to gain the ICC certificate for driving powerboats up to 10 meters abroad.  You do this through the RYA website once you have your course certificate. (Approx cost is £27 including 1 year’s subscription to the RYA)

Your course materials are provided (RYA Start Powerboating & RYA Syllabus and Log book) and on completion you receive your RYA Certificate Card.
