I agree to be bound by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing and all other rules that govern this event. I confirm that I have read the Notice of Race and accept its provisions, in particular the Risk Statement therein. I confirm that I hold current and valid insurance which covers me for third party claims whilst racing with cover of at least £3m per incident, and will do so throughout the event. I acknowledge that I am responsible for my dependent throughout the event, and during the event I will either be available at the event venue or I will inform the Race Office in writing of an adult acting in loco parentis who will be available at the event venue when I am not. I acknowledge that I have sole responsibility for my dependent whenever they are not engaged in an official event activity on the water.
As part of the week we may take photographs or videos of various activities. These may then be displayed to support training, promote or celebrate the week but no names will be mentioned in any material.
Do remember that the week relies on our volunteers to help run the day to day activites afloat and ashore with safety - helm and crews, beach master and assistants plus other activities. Please note down any days or qualfications that you can help us with.

Our legendary Junior Race Week is running from Saturday 15th to Wednesday 19th August.

A week of back to back racing in all of our junior classes – We intend to race the following fleets of dinghy’s – single or double handers:

Optimist/ILCA/Feva/Tera/Topper/RS200/Firefly/Zest.

Any other handicap boat as approved by the club such as the RS vision

We will have a coached element of the fleet for our less experienced racers, and a race coach clinic available to all for the week. 

We have a busier social programme in the afternoons/evenings this year!

Programme details to be confirmed but to include:

  • The famous Junior Race Week BBQ evening
  • Foam Party  – Quiz and Curry Night  – Disco, Karaoke & Pizza Night 
  • Annual Blow-a-boat competition
  • Water Games – Lego masters – Scavenger Hunt 
  • Finale: Prize Giving 

Entry ticket price to include: 5 days of racing, Free event T-Shirt (for entries before 30th July) plus  food x 3 evenings – BBQ ticket, Curry (Quiz night) & Pizza  

Camping at the club for over 15’s with parental consent, on the lawn (tents pitched from Friday 5.00pm)

REGISTRATION 08:00 – 09:00 AM Saturday 15th – boat drop off at the club from Friday afternoon.
