ILCA YOUTH OPEN – 12 and 13 July 2025

Saturday & Sunday 12th-13th  – ILCA Youth Open Series –  Host  The Royal Harwich Yacht Club

We are delighted to be hosting the East Region Youth Open this year, and welcome sailors and their families to enjoy a weekend on the River Orwell at our club.

This is part of the ILCA UK Youth Series sponsored by Harken.

Separate starts for ILCA4, ILCA6 and ILCA7.

Due to tides in the race area – racing is anticipated to be:

Saturday –  Racing: 11.30 – 16.00

Sunday – 11.30-16.00

ILCA UK will be providing a coach to support sailors during the event.

Entry fee is £40.00 for both days

Club information

• Our bar and galley will be open all weekend (9am-10.30pm) for tea, coffee, a full bar menu plus cake, breakfast baps etc.
• We have a large car park that will have an area for road bases / trailers to be left.
• We have limited campervan parking at the club, but our neighbours MDL marinas provide camper van parking
• The club has large changing/shower rooms
• We have limited small tent camping on upper lawn for this event – 8 small pitches
